Five Crystal Simorgh Awards from the Fajr Film Festival have been dedicated to Astan Quds Razavi Central Museum in the Iranian city of Mashhad.

Iranian producer Seyed Mahmoud Razavi received five Crystal Simorgh Awards from the 35th Fajr Film Festival for his three films, including ‘Midday Event’, ‘About Ellie’, and ‘Dehliz’.

The famous producer dedicated his awards to the Astan Quds Razavi Central Museum in the holy city of Mashhad, which is a major museum complex affiliated with the Central Library of Astan Quds Razavi and was inaugurated in 1964. Its collections contain Islamic art and historical artifacts.

Notable museums within the complex include the Museum of Quran and Precious Objects, the Museum of precious objects donated by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the specialized Museum of Carpets, the Museum of Armaments, and the Museum of Fine Arts.

Other notable museums within the complex include the Museum of Astronomical Tools and Clocks, and the Museum of Coins and Medals, among others.

The winners of the 35th edition of the Fajr Film Festival were announced during the closing ceremony at Tehran’s Milad Tower on February 9.
